Single Tooth Implants

singleimplant

Single tooth implants are a great option for patients who have one or more missing teeth. Whether the tooth has been missing for some time, or you are in need of an extraction, implants have many benefits.

Below is a case of a Female Model that was allergic to metal and had a fractured root in a front tooth.  With a high esthetic demand it was important she was out of pain but was also able to enjoy her smile when treatment was finished.  In the after photo on the left hand side healing of the gums occurred because the materials we use are compatible with the human body.

Dental implants provide patients with the ability to chew, speak, and smile with confidence. Additionally, having dental implants can prevent the bone loss that occurs when teeth are missing. Implants act just like a normal tooth and have all of the same functions. Dental implants replace the root of a missing tooth; they are embedded in the jaw bone, much like the root of a tooth is. Once the implant is secured in the jaw, an abutment gets screwed on the top of the implant. The restoration, or crown, will permanently secure to the abutment.
